Self Managed Site
Brook Road Allotment Association self-manage
this site following a break from local government control in 1999. Situated in a quiet residential area of North
Bournemouth the site now consists of 90 plots of various sizes to suit all situations. Due to its unusual shape, there are plots of both
varying size and shape. Most plots have
access to a main path and there is one main parking area with a couple of smaller ones under
construction.

information and advice is readily at hand for the asking.
Plots are currently cultivated by a wide range of people of all ages and ability /
dis-ability.
Tools Available
The association has a number of tools
available to members including a small rotavator, petrol strimmer, mowers and flame gun. There are also numerous hand tools available for
use on the occasion you have left yours at home!
All power tools are used at members own
risk and protective clothing and goggles are recommended. Brook Road Allotment Association
cannot be held responsible for any injury however caused.
